Help! I'm cooking two turkey breasts for Thanksgiving. One is 8.6lbs the other 8.4lbs. How long do I cook them? For 8.6 lb or combined 17lb

No, they should cook much faster if they're in the oven at the same time together! If you roast them separately, they'll take that long.

Our turkey rule is 13 minutes per pound -- but pull them when their internal temperature registers 160. (The temperature will climb the last five degrees as they rest.)

Would that be 13 min p.p. based on combined weight? 17lbs x 13= 221 min (3.6 hours?)
