Pecan pie

We are making the food 52 pecan pie recipe and Our pecan pie filling very viscous. The added too much corn syrup and had to remove one cup of corn syrup. Now the feeling is very thin. What can I do like the consistency thicker?

Which recipe are you following? Could you double the filling and make two pies? (Add back the corn syrup you removed, say?)

Took out a cup added more brown sugar :) about to bake.
