What pairs well with artichoke paste for pinwheels?

I am going to make a version of Merrill's pinwheels that includes artichoke paste. What do you think would pair well with the artichoke?

Maybe just some Parmesan -- I'd keep it simple so you can really taste the artichoke.

Sun-dried tomatoes - paste or chopped in small bits, or olives chopped in bits, maybe spicy.
