sorry i meant braising!! what would be the best way to cook it been told to casserole but dont have a dish any other way?

A pan, pot, clean used hubcap. Cover with it's own cover or foil. First, season and give it a good sear (brown it up). Cook with a little liquid ( water, stock, beer or wine) until it's tender. You can make a gravy or sauce from the left over liquid.
