Rice Pilaf w/ brown rice and orzo?

Question

I bake my brown rice after sauteing rice, onion, mushrooms.... I will saute orzo too.  will orzo be over cooked after 45 minutes in the pot w/ rice?  Thank You............

I would cook the orzo separately (toast it in butter or olive oil before preparing) and stir them together when the rice is ready.
