I have a question about the recipe "Wild Blackberry Ricotta Muffins " from Krissy. Does this really take 1/4 cup of salt?

Oh, and how much sugar is called for? Starting to wonder about making these.
I can't imaging 1/4 c is correct, sounds like way too much. Maybe use another recipe?
the salt is to be sprinkled on the top of the 12 muffins and meant to compliment the sweet berries and ricotta. please season to your personal tastes but see recipe notes on this step.
the recipe has been amended to "a handful" of salt
