I used 3/4 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 cup salt to cure my salmon. Is it ruined?

I also used tequila, dill and peppercorns. Is the sugar/salt mixture ok?

I think it's fine. Sugar-curing as opposed to salt-curing :)
