How can you turn a 14 cupcake recipe into a cake recipe?

Typically each cupcake holds about 1/2 cup batter. So I'm guessing this recipe is about 7 -8 cups batter. That would fit in a 9"x2" round cake pan or an 8"square pan or an 11x7x2" rectangular pan. The baking time will be longer
