It looks like these are pretty standard eggnog cookies with a pomegranate molasses glaze. If you want to make these, I'd follow a recipe for eggnog cookies like this one: and then make a glaze following the regular recipe for glaze: 1 cup confectioners sugar, 2 TB water, 1 TB light corn syrup, and instead of 10 drops of food coloring, I'd add the pomegranate molasses. If it's too runny, you can always add more powdered sugar.

Very good question, suzy. Clearly butter is the missing ingredient. As well, I suspect that, since it comprises 5 cups of all-purpose flour, it yields significantly more than 12 cookies. Perhaps 12 dozen? I would suggest emailing the author directly.
