A question about a recipe: Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake with Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting

I have a question about the recipe "Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake with Chocolate Sour Cream Frosting" from Sarah Jampel. Is this recipe enough to make two 9 inch round layer cake or do I have to double the recipe? Thanks.

I would recommend doubling the recipe (though you might have some excess batter). I don't think it will be enough for two 9-inch pans! Let us know how it goes.
