The okayness of mixing more than one meat in a soup seems to rely on cultural preference. It's not going to do you any harm to mix them, however, if you weren't raised with the flavour, it might take some getting use to.
The first time I had mixed meat soup was a korean meal. It had pork and chicken and fish all in the same bowl. It was very strange at first, but after a couple of bites, delicious. Just took a bit of getting use to.
I don't remember ever having beef and chicken together in the same soup, at least not chunks of meat. I've had chicken meat in beef broth and beef meat in chicken broth, both are good, however, the beef flavour usually overwhelms the chicken.
In the end, it all depends what you want from a soup. What kind of soup are you thinking of?
