What kind of dressing should I make for a "massaged" kale salad with julienned beets, candied walnuts, cranberries and walnuts? Thanks!

Or a vinaigrette using orange juice.

Have you had the kale salad at Whole Foods? It's so good. It has tahini, garlic, lemon juice and nutritional yeast. If you google "Whole Foods garlicky kale salad recipe" you'll pull up the copycat recipe. It's on the www.eatingbirdfood website.

Thanks everyone! I went with Balsamic, olive oil and salt and pepper. Will massage the kale with a little lemon juice too. Thanks again!

My favorite way to dress kale salad is just olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste!

That sounds yummy.

I second a simple vinaigrette, or for an asian flavour, make a vinaigrette from sesame oil and rice vinegar. Sesame vinaigrette goes amazing with kale. If you have pickled ginger in the house, add a drop or two of the ginger liquid to the dressing.

I'd make a simple vinaigrette with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
