help. i forgot to thaw my dumpling wrappers ahead of time. Anyone know a quick thaw method?

Did that work for you bridget? Another technique I have used is placing the packet on top of my gas stove, over a pilot light. As the wontons get looser, turn over the package.
I use this technique for a number of things, esp. bread items (bagels etc) where i don't want to nuke them for fear of toughening them. The pilot light works pretty fast!

Cold water. Wrap them in two plastic storage bags to be water-proof. Put in a sink or large bowl of cold water. Should take an hour or more depending on how many. If you have a lot of them, put them in multiple bags in multiple bowls of water.
