Shiso lime broth: Best method to extract flavor from fresh shiso?

Think of it as cilantro or basil. I would maybe use the stems in the broth, but not the leaves. Use the leaves in whatever you are making with the broth if it's appropriate. I made a shrimp soup with roasted corn, lime powder, shrimp, coconut milk and shiso. I blended the soup with my immersion blender before I added the roasted corn and soup. The whisk gave it a lovely color and flavor.
