Yes we sourced from Terrain, as Amanda mentioned. We appreciate all of your recommendations @antoniajames and agree that this one is a great idea! We're doing our very best to source products recommended by our community members, but unfortunately sometimes things don't always work out when we get into discussions with the companies that make the products. We're still hunting for a great oil & vinegar dispenser, so stay tuned!

It's a gravity weighted stopper - so clever, and so handy, as you can drizzle small amounts of vinegar or oil, using just one hand. I recommended to the Food52 shop last fall that they offer them, but sadly, they did not like the idea. I've been using these stoppers for years, having purchased my first from an olive orchard in the Gold Country (El Dorada County, CA).

You can buy them online here: http://shop.oliandve.com/Weighted-Pour-Spout-Silver-SILVERSPOUT.htm They make the best stocking stuffers, or add-on for homemade flavored vinegars given in pretty bottles as gifts. Everyone I've given them to has really appreciated them.

The advantage of buying just the stopper, of course, is that you can put it on a tall, narrow bottle, making it more convenient for small cabinets where shelf space is at a premium. ;o)

Another advantage of course is the cost. The Terrain bottle plus stopper costs $30. The stopper alone costs $5. ;o)

I think you're referring to this glass dispenser, which we bought from Terrain: http://www.shopterrain.com/product/recycled-glass-oil-dispenser
