Anyone have clever suggestion for cleaning a panini press after a very gooey grilled cheese sandwich?  Mayo leaves a particular mess!

Warm it up and rub the grill with an onion cut in half.  Stick a fork in the onion and rub on the the grill - viola! it is done.
