I never seem to have the time I I need the to bake when I need the baked goods. I have the time a week early. So can i bake and freeze the babka a week ahead?
Yes, I've done it successfully. I usually double wrap - first in a tight layer of foil and then in a plastic freezer bag. You might want to warm it up just a bit in a very low oven, after defrosting, to serve it. Good luck!
