I have a question about the recipe "Jamie Oliver's Smoked Beets" from Genius Recipes. I am finally trying this recipe but I know my family will want more than just the beets for dinner. What would you recommend as a meat or non-meat accompaniment?

Grilled chicken with a mustard and herb marinade would be excellent with these.
Also, I highly recommend this delicious, versatile pork tenderloin, which is marinated in mustard, honey and soy sauce: https://food52.com/recipes...
If you want to go very simple, an herbed frittata would be a good choice. Have fun! ;o)
All of them sound wonderful! I think I'll go meatless for this meal and try a frittata. Thank you so much for the ideas.

Grilled trout, with wedges of fresh orange as garnish for both the fish and the beets.
Tortilla espanola, served any temp (cold, hot, room temp)
Bucatini with pesto (traditional type or a variation with pistachios, walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts)
