Pan size--cake recipe calls for sheet cake. I don't own and don't want to do two 9 inch pans. Any other size work?

No you are not! Try dividing the recipe by 1/2, fill the 9 x 13 pan as usual and then put the overflow into another pan (maybe your 9 x 9?), keeping in mind the varying cooking times. If you use it, check the 9 x 9 halfway through cooking the 9 x 13.

Good luck!

Hi Barb! What are the pan sizes you'd like to use? You can definitely use other sizes, but your best bet is a 12 x 16 and halving the recipe. Here are more options if you have other pan sizes: https://food52.com/blog/13239-how-to-make-your-baking-recipe-fit-your-pan-size
