I had just enough eggs for my recipes, not one left for making my crusts glow. My question: how do I make them shiny and pretty on the counter, now?

Hi Linda! Are you pies already cooked and on the counter?

If they aren't cooked, try a wash with cream instead of eggs, and if you don't have cream, maybe some whole milk or melted better.

If they are already cooked, a little melted butter, a sprinkle of sugar, and a few seconds under the broiler (carefully and quickly!) should do the trick.
