How long will a candied pecan/almond mix keep?

I will be making a candied pecan/almond mix to give as holiday gifts and I will be putting them in mason jars. I was hoping to make them about 2 weeks in advance, will they keep?

Keep them frozen in a bag until ready to pack and give away. Nuts go rancid quickly. Sounds like a yummy gift!

Should be fine! Two considerations: the nuts should be absolutely cool before you pack the jars; and I would use the two-part metal lids, as the flat piece with the rubberized ring will give a nice seal.
