Does anyone know what the ideal size for photos is on here? Most of the photos that I add don't fit the screen properly or are too zoomed in.

I'm not sure of the ideal size,, however these are some of the sizes of what I've posted.
Tomatoes - 64.8 KB 240 x 320
Fruit Tarts - 65.5 KB 240 x 320
My Avatar - 140 KB 768 x 1024
