I have a question about the recipe "Gingered Cranberry-Pear Pie" from EmilyC. Could this recipe be made into a galette or is there too much liquid?

Thanks so much, Emily! I am making this to take to our family Thanksgiving this year. Can't wait to try out your recipe. It looks fabulous. My pie crust never turns out pretty so I was really pleased when I found out about galettes!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
