Semisweet instead of unsweetened chocolate!

I accidentally used semisweet chocolate instead of unsweetened chocolate in a cake. The batter is mixed (with the original amount of sugar) but the cake is unbaked. anything I should add to the batter to make it less sweet?

Hi Gretchen! It's probably best to bake the cake as is and adjust after the fact -- does the recipe call for frosting? Leave it off, and maybe dust it with some cocoa instead.
