My 6 lb pot roast is still kind of frozen in the middle. Just put in slow cooker for 8hrs. Will this be safe and cooked? hoping not to eat at 10pm!

Hi Christy - I haven't ever tried this, but I did find a recipe for frozen pot roast in a crockpot here: http://www.mommypotamus.com/how-to-cook-frozen-roast-crockpot/ -- it looks like you'll be okay! You just might need to have the temperature on high to make sure you're eating at a reasonable hour.
