can i use mince meat 2 weeks past use by date? has been in the fridge unopened, slightly brown but smells completely fine

for anyone curious, i ended up cooking it and eating it, tasted fine and i didn't get sick :) my fridge is colder probably more so than a normal fridge, so maybe that is why it is was fine.

When you say mince meat, do you mean what I would call ground beef, or do you mean mince meat as in preserved and flavored meat that one would use in a pie? If the former I would say no do not use it, if the latter you are probably okay. It's never a good idea to eat truly questionable food.
