substitute dried ground ginger for fresh ginger

1/6 dry to fresh. Example - 1 T fresh minced ginger replaced with 1/2 t ground dry ginger (1T = 3t). This worked well for us in marinades, dressings and other sauces when we did not have access to fresh.

They really aren't interchangeable.
