Had the long bone removed from a whole prime rib roast and froze it. How can it be used?

I'd roast it to develop the flavor, and then make a lovely broth, maybe for a summer greens soup.

I would think this expensive nice bone w/some meat on it could be used for human consumption as in soup, broth, etc. Other suggestion's please. I've had it in the freezer 4 months wrapped in freezer paper and in plastic zip lock freezer bag.

I would combine it with other bones to make stock or gift it to a friendly dog.

I prefer not to allocate too much of my freezer's space to animal bones so if some bones have been loitering in there for several months (developing freezer burn), it's easiest for me to toss it and not think about it anymore.
