How do you spell clafouti. Is it clafoutis?

Survey say's, "clafoutis". Oh those french with their silent finials.

It's clafoutis in French, but often spelled clafouti in English, probably to make it more phonetic.

In France, I have only seen it spelled "C-L-A-F-O-U-T-I-S." That's the spelling I use. I don't believe the other is singular.
