How do I cook scarlet beans?

Basically like any other dried bean. It's best to soak them overnight and then drain, cover with 2-3 inches of water, bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer about 90 minutes, or until tender. Add more water, if necessary. Also, do not add salt to the beans until just before serving to prevent from being tough. Hope this helps :)
