Can you update this recipe with weight measurements?? Several have posted in the comments but they just get buried. I expect more from you Food52!

Understood. Is there any way to include both? Or make sure the weight measurements comment is at the top? It just gets buried.

Hi WellFedWit, as this is an individual's recipe, we would not alter it to add in weight measurements. It's great that you found the measurements that worked for you, and it will no doubt help others who read through the comments (unfortunately at this time we do not have the capability to keep certain comments at the top). It is of course possible to include both (or just stick with weight measurements) for any recipes you might care to upload and share with us!

Its no use chastising the website for someone taking advantage of its model. If you wanted to submit a recipe calling for 237 ml - water, 28 g. - ice; and call it "ice water"....you'd get to do that. That's what makes this website great, the freedom to share your recipes the way you want them to be seen. Talk to Catherine O'Donnell....she'd probably be gracious enough to assist.

It was a joke. sarcasm doesn't translate well in this medium.

Hi WellFedWit, I love baking with weight measurements, too! Not everyone owns/bakes with a scale though, and since the majority of the recipes are user-submitted, not every recipe you find here will include weight measurements. No doubt others will appreciate you taking the time to share the measurements you used in the comments, so thank you!
