Slow cooker soup mistake

Am making a butternut squash soup in a slow cooker. I added all the ingredients and then read the directions. The vegetables are supposed to cook for 4 hours - Then the spices are added. I put everything in the slow cooker all at once so it will be cooking for 4 hours. Will this be ruined?

Without knowing what the recipe is, it is very difficult to make a reliable prediction but perhaps the flavors will be a bit unbalanced.

It certainly won't be unsafe to eat.

No, however you may to adjust spices after it is done. Start with small amounts, stir, taste.
