Slimy mashed potatoes! Help!!

i used an immersion blender to blend my cooked, peeled yukon gold mashed potatoes (w/cream + butter) + they’re slimy now! is it possible to fix?!

If the potatoes are gluey, you can try adding another potato that you mash by hand or run through a ricer to lighten it up.
