If you can find a Rose' vinegar, but a good red wine vinegar is perfect depending on what you are looking for.

I think cider vinegar is the closest.

Depends on the recipe of course, but I would likely reach for the red wine vinegar.

Other suitable candidates would be white wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar and rice wine vinegar.
Again, much of this depends on what dish the vinegar is going into.
