I'm trying to decide if I should splurge on a Staub Dutch Oven or a Cocotte. Is there a major difference in what they should be used for? I.e. will a Cocotte be too shallow for chili or pot roast?
Oval (cocotte) will hold and do everything a round dutch oven does.
Also chicken duck fish or rib roast.
Look at all the cocottea...only one is shallow.
