I have a question about the recipe "Stuffing Muffins" from jsacks. Should I dry the bread first, or is it used fresh & soft?

Not sure about this specific recipe, but when I make stuffing I dry the bread first. Stuffing muffins give you individual servings of stuffing with crispy edges. I use my own stuffing recipe to make them.
