Can you roast/bake a boiled turkey? I already boiled it and I don't want it to go to waste?

Hi, Nkechi! Did you boil the turkey for broth? If so, you could just shred the meat and season it to serve; it would be great on a sandwich, turkey salad (like chicken salad), or even in soup. If you boiled it for Thanksgiving, I'm not sure you could roast it in the oven to get that crispy skin; the fat would have rendered off into the broth and the skin would have to be super dry in order to crisp. If you were planning on serving this for Thanksgiving, I'd suggest starting with a new bird and roasting it straight in the oven (you can also brine it before roasting if you'd like). Here are a few of my favorite roast turkey recipes, plus a primer on each method: https://food52.com/blog/23276-absolute-best-turkey-recipes-thanksgiving-most-popular-methods-techniques

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
