It is safe to cook turkey thawed in cold water then put back in the fridge

Thawed yesterday in cold water changed the water and flipped it every 30 minutes for 4 hours then put it in the fridge to be cooked in a slow cooker today..is it safe to do so. It is an 8 lb. Bone in breast

Hi, Caryn! Unfortunately according to the USDA, you should cook the turkey immediately after it is thawed when using the cold water method.
