Can I substitute condensed sweetened coconut milk for evaporated milk in a pumpkin pie recipe?

I’m using the famous Libby’s recipe but it calls for evaporated milk and I’m vegan. Can I sub sweetened condensed coconut milk?

And maybe reduce the sugar in the original recipe, as the sweetened coconut milk adds to the total sugar.
