I am making vegan macarons. I realized after piping my batter that it is too stiff-- it's not flattening out as it should. Can I remix? The wonky shaped rounds have been resting for about 30 minutes.
This happened to me once. I’m not sure what you are making them for, but I baked them anyway and they still tasted amazing they just didn’t look like a classic macaron. It might be best to remix with more liquid.
