I have a question about the recipe "Nigella Lawson’s Meringue Gelato Cake with Chocolate Sauce" from Genius Recipes. Can the sauce be made ahead, or does it have to be used right away?
I make chocolate sauce ahead of time and store it in a glass measuring cup in the fridge. It will harden, but you can heat it gently in the microwave a few seconds at a time, stirring in between. You only want it slightly warm, not hot.
