Size too big for pot

Because we are having more people, we doubled the size. The meat is too big for our pot.
Can we double up in a larger pot? What do you recommend? Cut in have and cook in separate heavy bottom pots?

This is a common problem. Your solution lies in what you want to do about the potatoes. If you can get all the brisket in one pot, whether it' whole or in pieces, and enough liquid to braise in, great, but there may not be enough room for potatoes. In which case, you can do roasted potatoes on the side. If you want braised potatoes, go for 2 recipes in 2 pots.
