i have a design cake pan, if i line with parchment paper will the design still show

The design won't show, try other non-sticking methods like a good, even buttering and flouring the inside of the pan.

Only as vague lumpiness, parchment isn't very flexible.  Wax paper is somewhat more so, but not enough to get a sharp design.
