Three years ago my slow cooker went out and I did not replace it. I use my oven for most everything.
Yes, recipes can be converted from slow cooker to oven. It's really mostly braising when using the oven method. I believe there are sites that have conversions for slow cooker to oven. Depends on what you cooking, poundage and temperature. It's fun and easy!

You could try it in Dutch oven, such as a Le Creuset, if you have one, in a slow oven, maybe 300 degrees. It’s the only way I can think of to do a low heat, moist type of cooking like a slow cooker.

The recipe I was thinking of but forgot to put it in my question: Slow-Cooker Pork Shoulder With Brown Sugar & Balsamic Glaze.

That recipe was an adaptation of another recipe made with tenderloin- did you check the comments on those recipes? There were tons of them, including some by people who had tried different methods, from oven to sous vide.
