Question about cream sauce in Halibut en Papillote

Recipe is from Cookwise and I have made it before. The original recipe calls for a roux based cream sauce. My question is would Mrs.Larkin's homemade marscapone work? Would I have to thicken it?

Just went and looked at her recipe, and my answer is "I don't know." It might break, but you won't know until you try it.

Most mascarpone has a definite sweet taste to it. I haven't made hers yet, so I can't say whether or not that would be a problem, either. Hopefully not.
