I'm doing a chocolate semifreddo for a dinner party tomorrow. I've done it once before and the part where you whip your egg yolks and melted chocolate together (did in a kitchenaid mixer) has decided to seize up into one huge unmanageable glob! I put the bowl over simmering water and added a bit of whipped egg white (part of the recipe) suggested by the author, and it's not working. If it was smooth i'd then fold in the whites and whipped cream and pour over the (chocolate crust bottoms) mini tart pan. Any suggestions to unseize this mess would be EVER SO APPRECIATED!
