Made lemon pie in aluminum pan. Lemon curd turned light green. Can we eat it?

The good news is that you've learned that chemistry works! Anything acidic prepared in an aluminum vessel easily passes through the thin oxide surface and comes into direct contact with the aluminum. Different compounds are formed which turn foods gray or black. Milk, for example will turn grey. Your lemon pie likely contained eggs, which will turn green. The bad news is that, while it will be relatively toxic, and while not actively poisonous, it will taste metallic. Live and learn, right? That' what I did.
