Hi Lisa A lot of people love induction cooking because the temperature is evenly distributed and they say the heat transfers quicker to your cookware with consistent cooking results. It's also much faster to cook with induction. I think it really comes down to what you will be using your stovetop for and your personal cooking preference. I love the look of a traditional gas stove but love the benefits of induction myself.
Thank you for your reply. I am replacing my gas cooktop and am trying to decide on t he induction or more gas. I will have to buy more pots that are compatible with induction but still have many that will work. My stockpot is one Ill have to replace.
