Freezing risen dough before baking?

I’ve made these before and they are GREAT—but can the dough be prepared and frozen before baking? (Thinking about stashing them away for my maternity leave...)

Yes! But you don't want to freeze risen dough, because the yeast will become active again as you thaw, and that's where you want the rise. King Arthur Flour has this handy guid for freeze and bake rolls: https://www.kingarthurflour.com/blog/2015/10/05/freeze-bake-rolls
