trying to make pumpkin tartlets from a pie recipe: the pie bake temp is 425 then reduced to 350. What temp should I bake tartlets and how long? Thanks

The temperature rule of pie baking is that high heat sets the bottom crust. I'd suggest sticking with the same temperatures, though clearly for a shorter time than a whole pie, maybe 5 minutes at 425, then finish at 350. Set a timer for 10 minutes, then check for doneness. Custards are done when you can bump the edge of the pan, and the center just jiggles a bit.
